I made this one night with what i had laying around the house and it came out so good, and was easy!

Ingredients
  • 1 box chocolate cake mix
  • 1 box instant chocolate pudding mix
  • 1/2 bag semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • 1 large extra dark chocolate bar (you can use flavored dark chocolate if you prefer, i like godiva chocolate)

Directions
  1. mix all ingredients except chocolate bar in a large bowl until well mixed and no dry spots
  2. Place in a 8x8 baking dish and put in oven for 30-40 minutes until toothpick comes clean or center of cake is firm to touch
  3. take out of the oven and place chocolate bar on top of hot cake
  4. let sit for 5 minutes or so until chocolate is softened
  5. spread chocolate over top of cake.
  6. let cool and chocolate harden on top.. This also helps keep cake moist inside!
  7. Hide cake from everyone else!
