How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 400.
  • Prepare pans.
  • In small skillet over medium high heat cook peppers in butter until color is bright and pepper is tender crisp then set aside.
  • In large bowl combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt and basil.
  • In small bowl combine milk and eggs until blended.
  • Add dry mix together with peppers and butter to wet mix.
  • Stir until just moistened then spoon into pans and bake for 15 minutes.

    This recipe looks very tasty. We have lots of salads and soups during the hot summer months. I think these will be a great side.
