Hot Pepper Jelly Turnovers Recipe

Great one that was in my collection. Freezes well uncooked - thaw and cook. Prep time does not include overnight refrigeration

Ingredients
  • 1 5-oz jar Old English Cheese
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1 cup plain flour
  • 2 Tablespoons water
  • 1 4-oz jar Hot Pepper Jelly

Directions
  1. Cut cheese into butter and flour
  2. Quickly stir in water and shape into a ball
  3. Refrigerate overnite
  4. Roll out dough very thin; cut with biscuit citter into 2-inch circles
  5. Place 1/3 teaspoon pepper jelly into center of each circle
  6. Fold over and crimp edges with fork
  7. Bake at 375 degrees F for 10 minutes or until golden brown
