This is a soup recipe that Ive had for years...It makes alot of soup which part can be frozen for a later time.. Its rich and hearty...

Ingredients
- 1 stick of butter or margarine
- 1 cup of flour
- 1 1/2 pounds lean ground beef, sauted and seasoned lightly
- 2 cans mixed vegetables or 1 1/2 bags frozen stew vegetables
- 2 medium onions, chopped
- 3 beef bouillon cubes
- 1 teaspoon salt and pepper
- 8-10 cups of water
- 1 16 oz can of tomato sauce
Directions
- Melt margarine in soup pot on top of stove.
- Mix flour to make a paste, brown lightly.
- Add water to this mixture.
- Add sauted ground beef that has been lightly seasoned.
- Add mixed vegetables, onions, and tomato sauce.
- Add bouillon and salt and pepper
- Bring this to a boil, reduce heat to simmer and cook for about
- 2 hours. This can also be cooked in a crock pot.
- Fresh vegetables can also be used instead of can or frozen ones.
