How to make it

  • Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F or Gas Mark 4)
  • Line one or two baking trays with greaseproof paper
  • Pour the condensed milk into a bowl and stir the coconut into it. Mix well.
  • Wet your hands and take a medium handful of the mix. Form into a ball and place on the baking sheet.
  • Continue making coconut balls and place 2cm apart from each other.
  • Bake until golden - takes between 8-10 minutes.
  • Fun to make with kids.

    I made these for my dad for christmas ... Being a coconut nut his opinion mattered and he says they were the best ever ... I did add some melted chocolate to the recipe too ... thanks for the recipe!

    I have a delicious recipe for macaroons, so I almost didn't make these, but I didn't know what else to do with my leftover can of condensed milk that I used a little bit of. These were so super incredibly easy, my 2 year old and I could make them together and lick our fingers, and they were loved by everyone. I am going to make these for the holidays (Maybe I'll add some nutmeg, etc.). I thank you so much! They are the perfect cookie for my life this month!
