This sauce is sweeter than most barbecue sauce and real sticky it is really good. It is to me really like a glaze.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup plus 2 Tbsp. ketchup
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/3 cup cider vinegar
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. onion powder
  • 1 Tbsp. chili powder
  • 1 tbsp. freshly ground black pepper
  • 1-1/2 Tbsp. molasses
  • 3/4 tsp. ground celery seeds
  • 1/2 tsp. smoked salt (such as McCormick)

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan, bring to a boil over medium heat. Reduce heat ans simmer 25 minutes or until slightly thickened.
