Ingredients
  • 1 (11oz)condensed Cheddar Cheese Soup
  • 1/2 package(14 oz) carmels
  • 1/3 Cup packed Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground Ginger
  • 2 Eggs,slightly beaten
  • 1/2 teaspoon Almond Extract
  • 6 Cups peeled and thinly sliced Apples
  • Melted Butter
  • Whipped Cream
  • 1 unbaked 9 inch pie shell

Directions
  1. Combine in sauce pan,soup,caramels,brown sugar and ginger
  2. Heat until caramels are melted,stirring constantly
  3. Remove from heat,add a little of this mixture to the eggs stir,then add all the eggs to the mixture
  4. Add Almond Extract,stir,cool
  5. In pie shell arrange alternated layers of apples and sauce,ending with the apples
  6. Brush the apples that are on top with the melted butter
  7. Bake in a 350 degree oven
  8. 1 hour
  9. Cool
  10. Serve with whipped cream

Although I've never tried it with the caramel..bet it is yummy, though!!! :)
