How to make it

  • In saucepan combine sugar, salt and milk. Cook over low heat till sugar dissolves. Cook at med till smooth, stirring constantly. Remove from heat; add butter, vanilla and cream of tarter. Let cool. When cool, beat till creamy, add coconut. Pour into buttered pan.
  • Chill, cut into squares.
