Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies Recipe

Ingredients

1 cup butter

2 squares semi sweet chocolate

3/4 cup white sugar

3/4 cup brown sugar

2 eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1 1/2 cups flour

1 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

2 1/2 cups rolled oats

1 cup chocolate chips

Directions

Melt 1 cup of butter in microwave.

Grind semi sweet chocolate down into powdery mix

Mix melted butter and boths sugars until smooth mixture

Add eggs into mixture

Add vanilla extract

Mix in flour

Preheat oven to 375 degrees

Stir until flour thorougly worked in

Add baking soda

Add rolled oats and mix thoroughly

Add chocolate chips and ground semi sweet chocolate

Grease cookie sheets if required (mine is a no grease pan)

Put tablespoon size amounts of mix onto cookie sheet

Once oven ready, bake for 10 to 12 minutes

Will make about 45 cookies

Rolled oats are simply oats that have been steamed and flattened into flakes. You'll see them in the grocery store as either "rolled oats" or "old-fashioned oats."

But I'm not sure if I answered on the homepage or not.
