How to make it

  • Heat oven to 350.
  • Beat cream cheese, butter, sugar, vanilla and cinnamon until well blended.
  • Add eggs one at a time mixing well after each addition then stir in milk.
  • Pour cream cheese mixture over 1 cup of the cranberries in large bowl and toss lightly.
  • Let stand 15 minutes rearranging bread in bowl occasionally to moisten.
  • Place in rows in greased rectangular baking dish.
  • Pour any remaining cream cheese mixture over bread then bake 45 minutes.
  • Bring syrup to boil in medium saucepan then add remaining cranberries and sugar.
  • Cook stirring occasionally then cool sauce slightly and serve with toast.
