Ingredients
  • 1 Long loaf sourdough French bread
  • 1 Jar(6oz) marinated artichoke hearts,drained and coarsely chopped
  • Reserve Liquid
  • 1/2 Cup Miracle Whip
  • 3 oz ham,thinly sliced
  • 3 oz salami or summer sausage,thinly sliced
  • 3 oz turkey breast,thinly sliced
  • 3 oz Swiss Cheese, thinly sliced
  • 1/3 Cup red onion,thinly sliced
  • 1 small can sliced ripe olives,drained
  • 3 plum tomatoes,sliced

Directions
  1. Cut Bread in half horizontally
  2. Hollow out each half,leaving 3/4" shell
  3. In bowl,combine artichoke liquid and miracle whip
  4. Spread mixture onto each bread shell
  5. In one half of bread shell,layer meats,cheese,artichokes,onion,olives,tomatoes
  6. Top with remaining bread
  7. Wrap entire loaf tightly with plastic
  8. Overwrap tightly with foil
  9. Place on cookie sheet
  10. Place another cookie sheet on top of loaf,weighted down with unopened cans on top (This is to -set- the sandwich
  11. Refrigerate Overnight
  12. For easier serving unwrap next morning and cut into 2" slices,then rewrap securely in plastic then foil.Place inside large plastic bag and seal
  13. Keep refrigerated until ready to dash out the door.
