Ingredients
  • Apples
  • Sugar
  • Bacon

Directions
  1. Wash enough apples that you will have 1 cup when they are sliced thin.
  2. Do not peel them.
  3. Sprinkle with 2 tablespoons of sugar.
  4. Fry bacon in a heavy skillet.
  5. When bacon is done remove from skillet and put apples in hot fat.
  6. Cover tightly and cook until tender.
  7. Serve piping hot.
