How to make it

  • In medium bowl mix dry ingredients. Set aside.
  • In large bowl, mix butter with sugar well, add vanilla and eggs and remix until creamy.
  • Now add a ¼ of dry ingredients to the large wet ingredient’s bowl and mix. Then add some pumpkin and mix. Repeat alternating dry and pumpkin ending with dry.
  • Add chips.
  • Pour into 9 inch, well greased loaf pan and bake at 350 for 45 min. (Double the recipe to fill a bundt pan.) Cover loaf with tin foil for first 30 minutes. Remove foil for last 15-20 minutes. Check at 40 minutes and then every 5 minutes with a knife into the center for dryness. Let cool in pan until warm.
  • Glaze-
  • Add a little cream and mix well. Add more cream until you get a thick syrup consistency.
  • Drizzel glaze over warm loaf so it melts down the sides.
