Peanut Butter Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie

This is my dads 'secret' East Coast cookie recipe but its so good I have to share it. It blends all the best cookies into one and they are always a hit when I bring them to events.
Ingredients
- MIX IN LARGE BOWL: shopping list
- 1 cup peanut butter shopping list
- 1 cup margarine shopping list
- 1 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1 cup white sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- ADD: shopping list
- 1 cup flour shopping list
- 1 tsp baking soda shopping list
- 2 cups oatmeal shopping list
- 2 cups chocolate chips (1 bag) shopping list
- pinch of salt shopping list
How to make it
- Mix first 5 ingredients in large bowl
- Add remaining 5 ingredients and mix together
- Drop by spoonful onto cookie sheet
- Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes
- Let cool on tray a couple minutes before removing to allow to stiffen
- Makes about 4 dozen cookies
- ALTERATION:
- -If you use all natural peanut butter you'll find the batter creamier
- -With regular peanut butter if you find the batter a bit stiff add a few tablespoons of milk to bring consistency to your liking
