How to make it

  • THIN SAUCE:
  • 1/2 tsp.salt
  • 1 T.butter
  • 1 T.flour
  • 1C.milk
  • MEDIUM SAUCE:
  • 1/2 tsp.salt
  • 2 T.flour
  • 2 T.butter
  • 1 C.milk
  • THICK SAUCE:
  • 1/2 tsp.salt
  • 4 T.flour
  • 4 T.butter
  • 1 C.milk
  • In saucepan,melt butter,add flour,mix to a paste.
  • Add milk gradually,stirring until it thickens over low heat.
  • Makes 2-2 1/2 cups.
