Rich Maple Frosting or Filling

Ingredients
- 1 1/4 C.maple syrup shopping list
- 1/8 tsp.salt shopping list
- 1/4 tsp.cream of tartar shopping list
- 1/4 C.sugar shopping list
- 2 egg whites shopping list
How to make it
- Combine all ingredients in the top of a double-boiler.
- Hand beat the mixture over simmering water until it stands in stiff peaks,approx 5-7 minutes,NO longer.
- *This will fill and frost an 8" or 9" 2-layer cake*
