Ingredients
  • 1 1/4 C.maple syrup
  • 1/8 tsp.salt
  • 1/4 tsp.cream of tartar
  • 1/4 C.sugar
  • 2 egg whites

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients in the top of a double-boiler.
  2. Hand beat the mixture over simmering water until it stands in stiff peaks,approx 5-7 minutes,NO longer.
  3. *This will fill and frost an 8" or 9" 2-layer cake*
