How to make it

  • Cut crusts off bread and cut into 5-6 strips.
  • Toast bread and trimmings slowly at 300 degrees until very crisp.
  • Cool completely
  • Crush up toasted trimmings into bread crumbs.
  • Beat peanut butter with oil until it reaches a cream consistency like that of a slightly loose cake frosting.
  • Roll toasted bread sticks in peanut butter cream coating all sides.
  • Roll in toasted bread crumbs.
  • Store in airtight container for weeks.
