How to make it

  • Throw everything together and let cook for 8 hours on High in the slow cooker. Turn to low when boiling.
  • When done drain into another container
  • you can mash them and add bean juice to desired consistancy, or you can eat them unmashed.
  • enjoy

    Well I started out with a small bag of split peas and it has turned into "Stone Soup." I added bay leaves then remembered the onion ends I keep in the freezer and added them. Then I found an end of ham and added that. I remembered I liked curry so I sprinkled some of that with black pepper and then figured that old carrot in the fridge might be good... smells delicious. And oh yes, I added a crushed raw garlic clove to it.
