From midwestguy 16 years agoIngredients
- 1 1/2 lbs ground beef shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1/4 cup of oatmeal (uncooked of course) shopping list
- 1 medium onion diced shopping list
- 2 cloves of chopped garlic shopping list
- 3 tablespoons of ketchup shopping list
- 1/2 cup of shredded zuchinni (optional, i dont always use this) shopping list
- 1 1/2 cups of tomato sauce shopping list
- 3 to 4 slices of bacon shopping list
- salt and pepper shopping list
How to make it
- preheat oven to 350
- mix ground beef with egg, oatmeal, onion, garlic , ketchup, zuccini (optional). little salt and pepper. mix with your hands well but dont over work it or it will be weird consistancy (i've had that happen) when its done.
- form into a meatloaf shape so to speak
- place in a 9 by 13 baking dish (not on a rack, remember this is fattening so no rack cooking).
- cover the meatloaf with strips of bacon until completely covered.
- bake at 350 for about 30 min.
- then pour over the tomato sauce and back another 25 min or so.
- take out of the over. slice and enjoy. stir up the juices and tomato juices and use it as a gravy over the meatloaf and potatoes..
- enjoy this fattening heart attack on a plate!
