Kraut Balls

- 1 large can or jar of sauerkraut, drained and chopped fine shopping list
- 1 large onion chopped fine shopping list
- 1 pound of sausage hot or mild shopping list
- 1/4 pound ground chuck shopping list
- 1 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon sugar shopping list
- dry mustard to the taste shopping list
- 1/2 cup bread crumbs shopping list
- 1 egg; beaten shopping list
- ******************************** shopping list
- for dipping balls...................... shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 1/4 cup milk shopping list
- bread crumbs shopping list
How to make it
- Cook all together,.......( except bread crumbs and egg).cook until meat is browned, ...remove from heat.
- mix in the bread crumbs and beaten egg...let cool.............
- shape into balls.
- then dip into 2 eggs and 1/4 cup of milk, beaten together, roll into bread crumbs. place on cookie sheet .
- bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees or until browned.
