PEACHY PUDDING BAKE This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Bateman Estate in Wills Point, Texas in 1985.

Ingredients
  • 8 medium peaches
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 cup all purpose baking mix
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 425.
  2. Peel peaches and slice then sprinkle evenly with sugar and let stand 10 minutes.
  3. Stir in baking mix and nutmeg then turn fruit mixture into greased square baking pan. Bake 35 minutes then serve warm with ice cream.
