Easy put together sweet for adults as well as the kids. Great for parties.

Ingredients
  • 5-6 regular sized Mars Bars candy bars
  • 1 tbsp margarine or butter
  • 1 cup Rice Krispies or chocolate flavor Rice Krispies
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup chopped almonds
  • 1/2 of a baking chocolate bar ( semisweet is fine )

Directions
  1. Soften the Mars Bars in a bowl in the microwave until just soft and easy to stir... do not completely melt- only soften please !
  2. Mix the margarine or butter and stir into the softened Mars Bars .
  3. Add the honey and combine well.
  4. Add in the Rice cereal ( chocolate flavor the best ) folding carefully so not to crush cereal the mixture.
  5. Stir in the almonds.
  6. Pour the mixture into a square cake pan, so that the thickness of the bars will be approx. 1 inch.
  7. Melt the cooking chocolate over slow heat or microwave.
  8. Coat the Mars Bars with chocolate in a buttered cake pan ;
  9. Tthe amount would depend on how much chocolate you like
  10. Spread melted chocolate out to edges and sprinkle more chopped almonds on , pressing some into melted chococlate
  11. Chill till firm and cut into bars.
