Mars Bar Squares Recipe

How to make it

  • Soften the Mars Bars in a bowl in the microwave until just soft and easy to stir... do not completely melt- only soften please !
  • Mix the margarine or butter and stir into the softened Mars Bars .
  • Add the honey and combine well.
  • Add in the Rice cereal ( chocolate flavor the best ) folding carefully so not to crush cereal the mixture.
  • Stir in the almonds.
  • Pour the mixture into a square cake pan, so that the thickness of the bars will be approx. 1 inch.
  • Melt the cooking chocolate over slow heat or microwave.
  • Coat the Mars Bars with chocolate in a buttered cake pan ;
  • Tthe amount would depend on how much chocolate you like
  • Spread melted chocolate out to edges and sprinkle more chopped almonds on , pressing some into melted chococlate
  • Chill till firm and cut into bars.
