Cherry Pie

- 2 cans (21 oz each..Lucky Lady brand used) Prem. cherry pie filling shopping list
- 3/4 cup sugar, plus additional for sprinking shopping list
- 1/4 cup of flour shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon shopping list
- 2 teaspoons fresh squeezed lemon juice shopping list
- 1/8 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 2 tablespoons of butter shopping list
- Pastry for double crust 9-inch pie shopping list
- milk for brushing shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees
- Mix cherry can contents, 3/4 cup of sugar, flour, almond extract, cinnamon, lemon juice and salt
- Cut butter into small pieces and dot top of filling
- Put top crust or Lattice Pastry on top
- Brush with milk and sprinkle with sugar
- Bake for 25 minutes, reduce heat to 350 degrees, cover with foil, and bake for another 25 minutes
