A variation on traditional chile.

Ingredients
  • 2 pounds ground turkey
  • 2 finely chopped onions
  • 1 head garlic, minced
  • 1 green pepper, chopped
  • 2 cans white navy beans (rinsed and drained)
  • 1 large can black beans (rinsed and drained)
  • 1 can crushed tomatoes
  • 1 can whole plum tomates (squished up with your hands)
  • 2 tbs cumin seed
  • 2 tbs liquid honey
  • Juice of one orange
  • 1-3 tbs hot sauce (you decide how hot!)
  • salt and pepper to taste

Directions
  1. Saute onions, garlic and pepper in a little oil unti soft. Remove to large pot.
  2. Brown turkey. Add to large pot.
  3. Add remaining ingredients to pot, return to heat.
  4. Bring to a rolling boil. Then let simmer for an hour or longer!
  5. Enjoy.
