This is a spicy fish and coconut dish of possible Portuguese and/or Indian origin . Traditionally , it's cooked in clay pot .

Ingredients
- 250 g shallots , 5 cloves garlic , 2 green chillies and 1 cm ginger - thinly sliced
- 2 spriges curry leaves
- 250 g tomatoes
- 1 tbsp fish or seafood curry powder
- 500 gm COD SLICES or SPANISH MACKEREL ( Ikan Tenggiri ) or LARGE PRAWNS
- 250 ml low fat evaporated milk
- 200 ml water
- Pinch of salt
Directions
- Saute all the sliced ing. until golden and aromatic .
- Add the tomatoes and curry powder and continue to saute until the oil separates .
- Add the fish slices / prawns , milk and the water .
- Stir gently and mix well .
- Cover and simmer until cooked
