Rosemary Sweet Bread

- vegetable cooking spray shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsps all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 cup skim milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup golden raisins shopping list
- 1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce shopping list
- 1 T finely chopped fresh rosemary shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- 2/3 cup sugar shopping list
- 1 T margarine, melted shopping list
- 2 cups all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsps baking powder shopping list
- 1/2 tsp salt shopping list
How to make it
- Coat a 9-inch round cakepan with cooking spray; dust pan with 1 1/2 tsps flour. Set pan aside.
- Combine milk, raisins, applesauce, and chopped fresh rosemary in a small saucepan, and bring to a simmer over medium heat. (Do not boil.) Remove from heat; cover and set aside.
- Beat eggs at medium speed of an electric mixer until foamy. Add sugar and margarine, beating well. Combine 2 cups flour, baking powder, and salt; add to egg mixture, beating until smooth. Add milk mixture; beat until smooth. (Batter will be thin.)
- Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake at 350 for 35 minutes or until a wooden pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan on a wire rack 10 minutes. Remove from pan, and let cool completely on a wire rack. 16 servings.
