How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • Halve and core pears.
  • Melt butter in baking dish.
  • Add pears, sprinkle with cinnamon. Roast for 30 minutes.
  • Remove from oven and allow to cool slightly.
  • Combine all ingredients, except canola oil, in blender.
  • Blend well making certain that pear is pureed.
  • In a steady stream, slowly add canola oil.
  • Continue to blend until dressing is well mixed. Best if allowed to chill for 30 minutes before serving, but can be used immediately.
