Sausage Corn Bread

- 1 lb. pork sausage shopping list
- 1 egg shopping list
- 1 3/4 cups buttermilk or whole milk shopping list
- 2 cups self-rising cormeal shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. self-rising flour shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 450 degrees.
- Partially brown sausage in a large skillet.
- Reserve 1/4 cup of the sausage drippings.
- Greased a 10-inch iron skillet and preheat it in the oven, until hot.
- Combine egg, milk, and reserved drippings.
- Stir in crumbled sausage, cornmeal and flour, blend well.
- Pour into preheated skillet.
- Bake 20 to 30 minutes, or untol done and crusty brown.
