Meat Like Honey

- 5 oz. lamb shopping list
- 1 Tbsp. golden syrup shopping list
- 2 Tbsp. castor sugar shopping list
- 1 tsp. cornflour shopping list
- Mix of: shopping list
- 1 Tbsp. soy sauce shopping list
- 1 Tbsp. sherry shopping list
- 1 tsp. vinegar shopping list
- pinch of ground ginger shopping list
- 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
- oil shopping list
How to make it
- Cut meat into thin strips about 2 inches long
- Dip in the syrup, coat in cornflour
- Quick-fry the meat on both sides in the oil, let drain
- Put fresh oil in the pan, add sugar and let it turn brown
- Add prepared mix of soy, vinegar, ginger, sherry, salt, with a bit of cornflour added
- When the sauce thickens, return meat, stir to heat
- Serve on a warm dish
