Ingredients
  • 500 g Dory fillet
  • 1/2 C plain flour
  • Potato wedges
  • Batter
  • 1 C self raising flour OR 1 1/2 C bread crumbs and 1 Egg
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp canola oil
  • Garnish :
  • Sprigs of parsley , 2 Lemon Wedges , Tartar Sauce
  • OR
  • Shredded Cabbage , Carrot strips , Tomato slices , Lemon wedges and Mustard /Mayonnaise

Directions
  1. Rinse the fish fillet and coat lightly with the plain flour , shake the excess flour .
  2. Make a well in the middle of the flour , salt and oil to make batter .
  3. Chill it .
  4. Dip the fillet and Deep fry in hot oil
  5. OR
  6. Dip the fillet in beaten egg and coat with bread crumbs
  7. and deep fry in hot oil .
  8. Drain in absorbent paper .
  9. Fry the potato wedges in the same pan and drain on oil absorbent paper.
  10. Garnish of your Choice .
  11. Serve HOT .
