Idaho Dutch Scalloped Potatoes Recipe
This is an awesome potato recipe that I got from my Aunt Barbara. She is a great cook and loves to serve potato dishes when she has people over. This one is really good. I love gouda and potatoes and together they are a real hit. Enjoy

Ingredients
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 cups potatoes sliced 1/4"
  • 1/4 teaspoon oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon thyme
  • 1/4 teaspoon rosemary
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 cup gouda cheese shredded
  • 1 cup table cream

Directions
  1. Heat milk in a large saucepan then add potatoes and seasoning.
  2. Cook 20 minutes stirring often.
  3. Layer cooked potatoes in a greased baking dish alternating with cheese.
  4. Pour cream and any remaining milk over all then bake at 350 for 30 minutes.
