How to make it

  • Rub pork chops with crushed garlic then sauté chops in butter until brown.
  • Brush with mustard on both sides then add cider and cover and cook until chops are done.
  • Sauté apples in butter and lemon juice then add brown sugar and cinnamon stick.
  • Add sherry and cook until sauce cooks down and becomes concentrated.
  • Season with salt and pepper then place on warm plate and spoon sauce and compote over top.
