- 5 1/2 plus 1/2 CC milk / evaporated milk shopping list
- 8 tbsp cornflour , mixed shopping list
- 1 1/2 C mawa ( Add a pinch of soda to the boiling milk , stirring until it thickens ) / sweet condensed milk and skip the caster sugar shopping list
- 1 1/2 caster sugar and 1 C heavy cream - mixed shopping list
- Few drops of essence shopping list
- Few almonds , pistachio nuts and cardamoms - Grated shopping list
How to make it
- Boil 5 1/2 C until thickens and reduced to half the quantity .
- Add the the sugar and boil 10 mins .
- Add the cornflour to 1/2 C milk and add to the above .
- Boil few mins .
- Add the mawa and remove from fire at once .
- Pour the essence , flavourings, dried fruits, cardamom, etc. are whatever you are using
- Cool it .
- Fill the paste in the moulds ( prefer the conical shapes )
- Seal tightly and freeze .
- Garnish .
Served with rice vermicilli
