Collard Greens Supreme Recipe
This is a way to perk up collard greens.

Ingredients
  • 3 cups cooked collard greens
  • 1 cup cooked brown rice
  • 1/2 cup of cranberries
  • 1/4 cup of pecans
  • 3 tablespons of butter or margirine

Directions
  1. After cooking the collard greens and rice, mix in the cranberries, butter and the pecans, cook until simmering.
  2. Serve hot.
  3. Makes about 8 to 10 servings, depending on size of portion

Thank you. It really tastes great. You can use a pre-package rice dish like from Rice-a-Roni or other brand (that has vermicelli) and it makes it faster and easier. Try adding your own suggestion as flavoring.


Sounds very good. I don't like white rice but I can eat rice a roni so I will try this one.


This sounds like a winner love collard greens anyway got my five. Thanks for a great post.
