Beef Rub Recipe
This versatile rub goes great on all types of beef. It can easily be adjusted to your taste. Fire up the grill!

Ingredients
  • 4 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon pure chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon granulated onion
  • 1½ teaspoons granulated garlic
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dried marjoram
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon

Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients together
  2. Makes about 1/4 cup
  3. Simply add the rub to your protein and throw it on the grill. The amount of time prior to cooking depends on the meat you are applying it to:
  4. 15 minutes - Small Foods such as shellfish, kabobs, vegetables
  5. 15-30 minutes - Thin meat such as chicken breasts, fish fillets, pork tenderloin, chops, and steaks
  6. 30-90 minutes - Thick cuts of meat like Leg of lamb, whole chickens, and beef roasts
  7. 2 to 8 hours - Big or tough cuts of meat such as racks of ribs, whole hams, turkeys, and pork shoulders

Alterations


For a more individual rub I suggest removing the cinammon and paprika and adding an xtra tsp of black pepper
