Beef Rub

- 4 teaspoons sea salt shopping list
- 1 tablespoon pure chili powder shopping list
- 1 tablespoon granulated onion shopping list
- 1½ teaspoons granulated garlic shopping list
- 1 teaspoon paprika shopping list
- 1 teaspoon dried marjoram shopping list
- ½ teaspoon ground cumin shopping list
- ½ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
- ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon shopping list
How to make it
- Mix all ingredients together
- Makes about 1/4 cup
- Simply add the rub to your protein and throw it on the grill. The amount of time prior to cooking depends on the meat you are applying it to:
- 15 minutes - Small Foods such as shellfish, kabobs, vegetables
- 15-30 minutes - Thin meat such as chicken breasts, fish fillets, pork tenderloin, chops, and steaks
- 30-90 minutes - Thick cuts of meat like Leg of lamb, whole chickens, and beef roasts
- 2 to 8 hours - Big or tough cuts of meat such as racks of ribs, whole hams, turkeys, and pork shoulders
