This goes with the saurkraut cake that i have posted. But it sounds good and could probably be used on any cake that you need chocolate frosting for .

- 1 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. cornstarch
- 1/8 tsp. salt
- 1 c. boiling water
- 1 square unsweetened chocolate (I am assuming 1 oz.)
- 3 T. butter
- 1 tsp. vanilla

Ingredients

1 c. sugar shopping list
1/4 c. cornstarch shopping list
1/8 tsp. salt shopping list
1 c. boiling water shopping list
1 square unsweetened chocolate (I am assuming 1 oz.) shopping list
3 T. butter shopping list
1 tsp. vanilla shopping list

How to make it

Combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt, cook 2 minutes, stirring.
Stir in milk.
Bring to a full rolling boil.
Cool down some, then stir in sugar. Cool down until you can spread on cake.

hi there! Jusst wondering, how much quantity of milk will i stir in and shall i stir in the butter, chocolate and vanilla in the end of the cooking. can you please complete the instructions, i love chocolate frostings and dying to try yours. gemini4
