Caribbean Rub Recipe
This versatile rub goes great on just about anything. Chicken, steak, fish, pork. It can easily be adjusted to your taste. Fire up the grill!

Ingredients
  • 1 tablespoon light brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon granulated garlic
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons prepared chili powder
  • 2 teaspoons freshly ground black pepper

Directions
  1. Mix all ingredients together
  2. Makes about 1/4 cup

Simply add the rub to your protein and throw it on the grill. The amount of time prior to cooking depends on the meat you are applying it to:

15 minutes - Small Foods such as shellfish, kabobs, vegetables

15-30 minutes - Thin meat such as chicken breasts, fish fillets, pork tenderloin, chops, and steaks

30-90 minutes - Thick cuts of meat like Leg of lamb, whole chickens, and beef roasts

2 to 8 hours - Big or tough cuts of meat such as racks of ribs, whole hams, turkeys, and pork shoulders
