Quick Borracho Beans Recipe
I haven't tried this one, but I will the next time I make a mexican dinner.

Ingredients
  • 4 cups chicken broth
  • 2 cans pinto beans, drained and rinsed
  • 1 can refried beans (I would use black fat free)
  • 1 1/2 cups pico de gallo (homemade or store-bought)
  • 6 oz. mexican beer
  • 1 tsp. Morton's lime salt (it might be good, but I would omit it - I never add salt to anything - just seasonings)
  • 1 Tbsp. hot sauce
  • I would add some garlic to this as well because everything needs garlic!

Directions
  1. Combine all ingredients and simmer for 30 minutes.

I think this would be quite good... We use canned pinto in a pinch.. So I will give a try...
