Cedar Plank Salmon

- 2" x 8" x14" untreated cedar plank, soak a minimum of 2 hours shopping list
- Pre-heat grill to medium high shopping list
- 2 lbs fresh salmon shopping list
- 6 Tbl Dijon mustard shopping list
- 6 Tbl brown sugar shopping list
- salt shopping list
- freshly ground pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Pat salmon dry
- It can be cut into four servings, which will cook more quickly or left as one piece
- Place salmon on plank that has been lightly rubbed with olive oil
- Season salmon with salt and pepper
- Spread top and sides with mustard and sprinkle with brown sugar
- Center the plank over indirect heat (the side where the flame isn't)
- Cover and cook for 20 to 30 minutes depending on size of pieces
- Serve directly from plank

This is a delicious way to grill salmon! We've been doing it for years! Cedar plank should only be used once though.
