Butter-nut Rolls Recipe
Oh so delicious, sweet, buttery rolls. Perfect with a cup of coffee or tea.

Ingredients
  • 6 Tablespoons butter
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 egg, well beaten
  • 1/4 tsp. salt
  • 1/2 tsp. vanilla
  • flour (amount unknown)
  • **Note: Keep adding flour until it is easy to handle
  • 1 cup finely chopped nuts of your choice

Directions
  1. Cream butter and sugar.
  2. Add egg, salt and vanilla. Mix.
  3. Add nuts and flour 1 cup at a time, mixing until dough is easy to handle.
  4. Chill
  5. Drop by teaspoon on greased cookie sheet.
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for approx 15 minutes, or nicely browned. Makes about 8 dozen rolls.
  7. NOTE: Mom's recipe. She didn't put the amount of flour in, we just always know by the feel.
