Ingredients

How to make it

  • Puree all ingredients in a food processor.
  • Add reserved liquid to make hummus your desired consistency. I love mine thick and creamy, similar to a peanut butter consistency.
  • Refrigerate for at least an hour before serving to let flavors meld.
  • To add some extra zip to this, add one of the following: roasted red pepper, marinated artichokes, kalamata olives, etc.

This looks so good! I'm going to forever quit buying it in the store. I have 3 cans of garbanzo beans in my pantry waiting to make this. This is a much better recipe than the one I was going to use.
    Thanks for sharing!

This looks great! I've been looking for a hummas recipe. I know a few people that have never tryed hummas, I know that sounds nuts but I wanted to make some homemade hummas to have them try. This recipe looks good and I think I'll us it to try on my friends and family.
