This is a basic recipe for granola bars....The variations are endless...Make them the way you like them

Ingredients
  • 2 cups instant oatmeal
  • 2 1/2 cups Rice Krispies
  • 1 cup raisins
  • 1 cup unsalted nuts, peanuts, cashews, almonds, any nut you like
  • 1 cup dried fruits, any kind you like, chopped
  • 1/4 pound butter
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 (10 1/2 ounce) bag mini marshmallows
  • 1 cup of anything else you'd like to add.. coconut, mini m and m's, reeses pieces(can be 1 cup of one thing or a combo adding up to1 cup)

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350
  2. Put oatmeal on baking sheet and bake 10 minutes
  3. Add Rice Krispies and raisins
  4. Mix and return to oven for 5 minutes
  5. Remove from oven
  6. Add nuts dried fruit, and 1 cup of additions
  7. Mix
  8. Put butter, peanut butter and marshmallows in a large saucepan, stirring until all melted
  9. Add dry ingredients
  10. Mix then pour into 9 x13x2 baking dish and pat gently until flat
  11. Cut into 12 hunks....Thus the name...Hunka Hunka Granola Love
