How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • Grease a 13 x 9-inch pan.
  • Dump pineapple with juice into pan. Spread evenly.
  • Dump in pie filling. Spread evenly.
  • Sprinkle cake mix over cherry layer.
  • Sprinkle pecans over cake mix.
  • Dot with the sliced butter.
  • Bake 50 minutes or until top is lightly browned.
  • Serve warm or at room temperature. Makes 12-16 servings.
  • Note: Good with Cool Whip on top.
