Too Easy Dessert

- 1 (20 oz) can crushed pineapple w/juice, undrained shopping list
- 1 (21 oz.) can cherry pie filling shopping list
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix shopping list
- 1 cup chopped pecans (optional) shopping list
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, cut into thin slices shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Grease a 13 x 9-inch pan.
- Dump pineapple with juice into pan. Spread evenly.
- Dump in pie filling. Spread evenly.
- Sprinkle cake mix over cherry layer.
- Sprinkle pecans over cake mix.
- Dot with the sliced butter.
- Bake 50 minutes or until top is lightly browned.
- Serve warm or at room temperature. Makes 12-16 servings.
- Note: Good with Cool Whip on top.
