How to make it

  • Sauté pepper, celery and onion in bacon drippings then add corn, pimiento and mushrooms.
  • Mix cornstarch and water until smooth then add to mixture in pan.
  • Stir constantly over medium heat to thicken then add cooked shrimp, salt and pepper to taste.
  • Pour into a greased casserole dish then sprinkle cheese on top.
  • Bake at 400 for 30 minutes.
