How to make it

  • Combine sugar and sour cream in heavy saucepan.
  • Cook over low heat stirring constantly until mixture reaches soft ball stage.
  • Remove from heat and stir in vanilla then stir until mixture begins to cool.
  • Add pecans mixing well to coat nuts.
  • Place pecans individually on waxed paper and cool completely.
  • Store in airtight container.
