Zebra Brownies Recipe
My mother would make these for me as a little girl. I would only eat plain brownies until she made these. I would have to say these are my all time favorite brownies to this day

Ingredients
  • *brownie mixture
  • 22 1/2 oz pkg Pillsbury deluxe fudge brownie mix
  • 1/3 c very hot tap water
  • 1/3 c. vegetable oil
  • 1 egg
  • *filling
  • 2 (3oz) pkgs cream cheese softened
  • 1/4 c sugar
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg

Directions
  1. preheat oven 350 degrees
  2. generously grease bottom only of 9x13 pan
  3. set aside
  4. in small bowl, blend all filling ingredients
  5. beat at medium speed until smooth @ 1 minute
  6. set aside
  7. in large mixing bowl, combine all brownie ingedients
  8. beat 50 strokes with a spoon
  9. spread 1/2 of brownie batter in prepared pam
  10. pour cream cheese mixture over batter
  11. spead to cover
  12. place spoonfuls of remaining batter on top of cream cheese
  13. marble by pulling knife through batter in wide curves
  14. turn pan and repeat marbling
  15. bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes
  16. cool then serve
