Molly Anns Easy Peach Cobbler

- 9 fresh peaches (organic is best, make sure they are not mealy, but juicy and ripe) shopping list
- If the peaches are unripe, let them sit for a day or two in a brown paper bag. shopping list
- 1 stick of butter shopping list
- 1 cup flour (1/2 cup each cake and regular is best) shopping list
- 1 1/2 t. baking powder shopping list
- 1 pinch of baking soda shopping list
- 1 cup milk shopping list
- 1/2 cup brown sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350
- Pour boiling water over peaches, let sit 30 seconds, drain, slip off skins
- Slice peaches into a 9 x 13 pan
- Melt butter in a small pan
- In a separate bowl mix together flour, baking powder, brown sugar, salt and baking soda.
- Add milk and butter to flour mixture, stir well till combined and uniform
- Pour over peaches.
- Bake for about 30 to 40 minutes till golden brown.
- Serve with vanilla ice cream.
- A variation is to add about 1 cup of blueberries or 1 cup sliced strawberries to the peaches
