How to make it

  • In mixing bowl cream butter and sugars then add oil, eggs and extract and mix well. Combine flour, soda, cream of tartar and salt and gradually add to creamed mixture.
  • Stir in almonds and butter brickle bits then shape into balls and roll in granulated sugar.
  • Flatten with fork and bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 350 for 14 minutes.
