Red Cabbage

- 1 red cabbage sliced finely shopping list
- 2 apples, chopped finely shopping list
- 1/4 cup vinegar shopping list
- 1/4 cup brown sugar shopping list
- 1/4 cup water shopping list
- 1 T. oil shopping list
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt shopping list
How to make it
- Heat oil in a large skillet with a lid to medium. Add cabbage and apples and cook down slightly, stirring. DO NOT BROWN. Mix remaining ingredients together. After about 4 minutes of cooking down, add the liquid and turn the heat down to low. Simmer for two hours until the cabbage is very transparent and tender.
