How to make it

  • Heat oil in a large skillet with a lid to medium. Add cabbage and apples and cook down slightly, stirring. DO NOT BROWN. Mix remaining ingredients together. After about 4 minutes of cooking down, add the liquid and turn the heat down to low. Simmer for two hours until the cabbage is very transparent and tender.
