Hearty Penne with Sausage

- 1 pound penne pasta cooked al dente shopping list
- 8-12 italian sausage pan cooked/browned and sliced into coin shopping list
- 1 red pepper diced shopping list
- 1 green pepper diced shopping list
- 1 large onion diced shopping list
- 3 cloves garlic minced shopping list
- 2 cans (~15oz) chopped tomato shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon pepper shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon oregano shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon basil shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon marjoram shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon celery salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon sugar shopping list
- oil shopping list
- water shopping list
How to make it
- In large stew pot heat about 2 tablespoons oil
- fry onions, peppers and sausage until onions start to clear
- add spices/herbs and sugar, pasta and 1/2 cup water
- stir, cover and let cook on high for about 5 mts
- add tomatoes and simmer covered for about 20 mts
- check for water, add if necessary to keep things moist and not sticky.
- Serve in bowls with parmesan cheese and a good crusty bread
- Loosen belt!

I made this for dinner tonight. It was delicious. I used Peppadew peppers and added a can of diced tomatoes. THX :)
